- Standard Lifts: 10, 15 & 20 foot standard lifts. Other lifts available for quote. Standard push button drop is 4 feet less than lift. CSA approved.
- Voltages: Power supply of 115/230V – single phase or 230/460V – three phase; 60 hertz standard.
- Easy Access For Maintenance: The panel plate provides easy access to controls and motor leads for changing voltage on dual-voltage motors or servicing the hoist. Connection wires are numbered for ease of maintenance.
- Heavy-Duty Motor Brake: A robust multiple-disc motor brake with a direct-acting design ensures precise load control and secure load holding.
- Smoother Lifting & Reduced Chain Wear: Equipped with a 5-pocket load sheave, this hoist offers 25% more chain and sheave engagement than traditional 4-pocket designs.
- Adjustable Limit Switches: Upper and lower load travel are precisely regulated by adjustable limit switches. Standard brass nuts enhance switch accuracy and consistency, while the stainless steel limit switch shaft ensures durability.
- Guards Against Unsafe Loading: A mechanical overload protection device safeguards the hoist, operator, and structural components from excessive loads, chain jams, and reverse phasing, ensuring safe operation.
- Two-Speed Hoist Models: Optional two-speed models provide a 3:1 speed ratio for precise load handling, available in 3-phase, single-voltage configurations.
- Longer & Quieter Operation: The oil bath transmission and precision-machined alloy steel gears deliver extended service life and quieter performance.
- NEMA 3R Push Button Station: Ergonomically designed for comfort, the push button station supports thumb or two-handed operation. Standard 24V control enhances operator safety.
- Compact Aluminum Frame: The lightweight aluminum housing simplifies portability and installation, making it ideal for various applications.
- Standard Chain Container: A durable chain container is included as standard for lifts up to 20 ft. (single chain) and 10 ft. (double chain).

What Does The Lifetime Warranty Cover?
The lifetime warranty covers all issues that arise from defective workmanship or materials. The warranty may be voided if improperly used, maintained, or repaired by a 3rd party.
What Trolley Options Are Available?
Universal trolleys such as UT plain trolley and UTM motorized trolley are compatible with the Coffing JLC. HTP and HTG trolleys are also perfect to use with an upper hook suspension.
What Is The Duty Rating?
The Coffing JLC has an H4 duty rating. This indicates the hoist is designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, capable of handling high-volume operations.
What Lift Heights Can I Choose From?
Standard lift heights are 10-ft, 15-ft, and 20-ft. However, longer lifts are available upon request. Longer lengths of replacement chain is also available for purchase.
Does It Come With A Chain Container?
Yes, the Coffing JLC comes with a standard chain container included. These accommodate 20-ft of lift on singled-reeved units and 10-ft on double-reeved units.
